The finishing gesture

An unexpected turn.

Silk catches the light. Wool softens the line. A diagonal changes the way the fabric falls. Small decisions give a simple object its own character.

An artistic study of a reversible navy wool and black silk scarf with clean diagonal ends and no fringe

The reversible scarf

Two materials. One considered line.

Fine wool and black silk reverse into one another. A narrow flash of the opposite face follows the fold; diagonal ends complete the line. The effect changes with the way it is worn.
